Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The
vidi connection ioctl() function incorrectly retrieves driver data from drm dev->dev to obtain a struct vidi context pointer. Because drm dev->dev refers to the exynos-drm master device, the retrieved data points to an incorrect device rather than the vidi component device. This discrepancy can result in null pointer dereferences, garbage value accesses, out-of-bounds errors, and use-after-free errors.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
