Description
A flaw exists in the zram module where partial discard requests are not properly handled. When a partial discard is requested, the system returns immediately without performing the discard work but fails to call the
bio endio() function. This causes the blkdiscard process to sleep indefinitely within the submit bio wait() function.Recommendations
Update to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 for openSUSE Tumbleweed.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for the Linux kernel.
