Description A slab use-after-free issue exists in the appletb-kbd driver. The problem occurs during driver tear-down in the appletb kbd probe and appletb kbd remove() functions due to improper sequencing of the inactivity timer cleanup. Specifically, the inactivity timer can remain reachable or be re-armed via .event callbacks after the backlight device has been freed, leading to a crash when backlight device set brightness() attempts to call mutex lock() on freed memory.
