Description A use-after-free issue exists in the Dawn component, which is the WebGPU implementation in Google Chrome. A remote attacker could potentially achieve a sandbox escape by inducing the browser to process a specially crafted HTML page. A sandbox is a security mechanism used to isolate running applications from the rest of the system to prevent malicious code from accessing sensitive data or resources.

Recommendations Update to version 148.0.7778.216 or later.
