Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Nanobot versions prior to 0.2.1
Description
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) issue exists in the
web fetch tool. This occurs because the runtime follows automatic HTTP redirects via the httpx library, allowing remote attackers to bypass initial URL validation. By providing a URL that redirects to a loopback or private address through a 3xx Location header, an attacker can force the system to send outbound requests to internal or private network hosts.Recommendations
Update Nanobot to version 0.2.1 or later.
