Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the PCI/P2PDMA component where the p2pmem alloc mmap() function triggers a warning condition when CONFIG DEBUG VM is enabled. This occurs because the function uses an assertion that expects the initial page refcount not to be zero, contradicting a previous change that set the initial page refcount of p2pdma pages to zero.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
