Description
Users can reset their Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) token through API routes that trigger email notifications. Because there is no limit on the number of emails that can be sent, an attacker could flood a user's mailbox. This activity may also negatively impact the SMTP server, potentially causing it to be flagged as a spam sender. This action requires a correct password, which limits the potential impact.
