Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Tapo C520WS v2
Description
An authenticated format string vulnerability exists in the ONVIF AddScopes method. User-controlled input is passed to formatting functions without proper sanitization, allowing an attacker to inject format specifiers into ONVIF scope parameters to manipulate memory handling. This can lead to a crash of the ONVIF management service, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition that disrupts normal device operation.
