An Improper Link Resolution Before File Access (Link Following) issue exists where a low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit the flaw to cause information tampering. Link Following occurs when an application follows a symbolic link to a file or directory without properly validating the destination, potentially allowing access to unauthorized files.
