A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the Windows DHCP Client, allowing an unauthorized remote attacker to execute arbitrary code over a network and affect the system. The issue occurs due to a lack of bounds checking when the
memcpy() function is called, specifically in the operation memcpy(out, data, len). Technical analysis indicates the trigger involves rpcrt4!Ndr64StubWorker and rpcrt4! report gsfailure.Recommendations
