Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Windows Ancillary Function Driver for WinSock (affected versions not specified)
Description A use-after-free issue in the Windows Ancillary Function Driver for WinSock allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. This can be achieved by exploiting a race condition, which occurs when the system attempts to perform two or more operations at the same time, but because of the particular order in which the operations happen, it causes unexpected behavior.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
