Description Improper access control in AMD uProf allows a local attacker with user privileges to write to the kernel-shared memory section. This issue involves a kernel write primitive in the AmdPowerProfiler.sys driver, enabling the ability to write specific values, such as 0x1 or 0x400003, to an arbitrary address. Such an action may result in a system crash or denial of service.
