Description A stack-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a buffer located on the stack than the buffer is allocated to hold. This issue can be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user, provided the victim opens a specially crafted malicious file.
Recommendations Update to version 21.3 or later. Update to version 20.5.3 or later.
