VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions bookcars version 8.3
Description A lack of cryptographic signature verification in the validateAccessToken() function allows attackers to bypass authentication by using a forged JSON Web Token (JWT), which is a compact, URL-safe means of representing claims to be transferred between two parties.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the validateAccessToken() function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
