Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
OpenSSH (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw in OpenSSH allows a local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host to hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This occurs when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used, allowing the attacker to pre-bind the preferred abstract X socket name. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may enable manipulation of the forwarded session.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
