VectorAV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ImageMagick versions prior to 7.1.2-15 ImageMagick versions prior to 6.9.13-40
Description A memory leak exists in coders/txt.c during the processing of TXT files containing texture attributes. The issue occurs because the texture object allocated via the ReadImage() function is not released when the GetTypeMetrics() function fails. This results in memory being leaked every time a specially crafted TXT file with a texture attribute is processed.
Recommendations Update to version 7.1.2-15 or later. Update to version 6.9.13-40 or later.
