Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the batman-adv module where the batadv gw node free() function removes gateway list entries during mesh teardown but fails to clear the currently selected gateway. This results in a stale gateway state remaining after cleanup, which can interfere with subsequent mesh recreations. The problem is linked to the bat priv->gw.curr gw variable not being cleared before the gateway list is processed.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
