Description The USB MIDI 2.0 endpoint parser in the ALSA usb-audio component fails to validate bLength against the remaining bytes in the endpoint-extra scan before reading baAssoGrpTrmBlkID[]. This allows a malformed device to cause reads of baAssoGrpTrmBlkID[] to consume bytes beyond the walked descriptor.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
