Description A logical error exists within the Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) change handle logic. The issue occurs when the system fails to replace the original ID pointer with the newly generated IDR object pointer at the correct location during normal execution flow. This flaw was identified through reports from syzbot and involves the drm prime destroy file private() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
