Description An issue exists in the symlink data() function within the SMB client. On 32-bit architectures, this can lead to an infinite loop or an out-of-bounds read (reading data outside the intended memory buffer) when the ErrorDataLength variable is set to specific values such as 0xfffffff8 or 0xfffffff0.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
