Description
A flaw exists in the
af alg cryptography module of the Linux kernel. An arithmetic overflow occurs when processing associated data lengths during the transmit buffer size check. A remote attacker can trigger this by providing a specially crafted associated data length, which may result in a denial of service (DoS) caused by system instability.Recommendations
