Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A data race exists in the bonding 3ad implementation due to improper Read-Copy-Update (RCU) rules for the
port->aggregator variable. This issue was identified in the bond 3ad get active agg info() and bond 3ad state machine handler() functions. RCU is a synchronization mechanism that allows multiple readers to access data simultaneously while a writer updates it, ensuring that readers always see a consistent version of the data.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
