Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the network transmission path where a Byte Queue Limit (BQL) imbalance occurs. In the
airoha dev xmit() function, inflight packets are only accounted for the AIROHA NUM TX RING netdev TX queues. Conversely, the airoha qdma tx napi poll() function accounts for completions across all netdev TX queues, resulting in inconsistent BQL accounting. BQL is a mechanism used to limit the amount of data queued in the network device to reduce latency and bufferbloat.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
