VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the clone alias() function within the AMD IOMMU driver. The function incorrectly assumes that the first argument pdev is always the original device pointer. Because pci for each dma alias() may send either original or alias device details based on topology, the source devid used to look up and copy the Device Table Entry (DTE) may be incorrect. This can result in the propagation of wrong or stale DTE entries to the alias device.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
