Description In passthrough mode, the invalidate mapping operation within the dm cache policy smq is called simultaneously by multiple workers without proper lock protection. This lack of synchronization can lead to data races affecting the allocated blocks counter or cause use-after-free issues with internal data structures during concurrent write operations. The issue specifically occurs in the smq invalidate mapping() function.
