Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the drm/v3d component regarding global performance monitor reference counting. In the
SET GLOBAL ioctl, the v3d perfmon find() function increases the reference count of the returned perfmon, but v3d perfmon set global ioctl() and v3d perfmon delete() fail to release this reference in several scenarios. Specifically, references are leaked during error paths in v3d perfmon set global ioctl(), during the CLEAR GLOBAL operation, and when destroying a perfmon that is currently set as the global perfmon.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
