Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A use-after-free issue exists in the OP-TEE driver of the Linux kernel. This occurs when a client task terminates while a supplicant is still processing its request. Because the client may remove and free the request from its queue while the request ID remains in the supplicant's IDR (Integer ID Management), a subsequent lookup by the supplicant leads to the dereferencing of freed memory. This race condition is triggered when the client is interrupted during shutdown or after a supplicant crash.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
