Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists when processing Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) queries. A pointer to the multicast group address is retrieved during initial packet parsing but is later dereferenced without being reloaded. This occurs because the socket buffer (skb) header may be reallocated following pskb may pull() calls, resulting in a use-after-free condition within the mld query work() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
