Description
A malformed GetProfileResponse message can trigger out-of-bounds reads while iterating interval entries, leading to process termination. This issue specifically impacts devices supporting the Simple Metering cluster. The attack requires the message to originate from a device that has already joined the network, and no information leakage to the sender was observed.
Recommendations
Update EmberZNet to a version newer than 9.0.2.
