Description
Certificates containing wildcard DNS Subject Alternative Names (SANs), such as
*.example.com, bypass name-constraint checks performed by the Certificate Authority (CA). This allows a certificate to be accepted even if its wildcard DNS SAN should have been rejected based on the issuing CA's permitted or excluded DNS name constraints.Recommendations
