Description
An unauthenticated buffer overflow occurs in the 'IEEE8021x upload.cgi' endpoint. The issue stems from insufficient bounds checking when the system parses filename values within multipart upload data. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and a denial of service by sending a crafted upload request containing excessively long input.
Recommendations
Update GeoVision GV-LPC2011 to a version later than 1.12.
Update GeoVision GV-LPC2211 to a version later than 1.12.
