Description
An unauthenticated NULL pointer dereference occurs in the HTTP request parsing logic of several CGI components. This issue stems from improper validation of required HTTP request metadata before its use by the affected components. A remote attacker can trigger a process crash and a subsequent denial of service by sending a specially crafted HTTP request.
Recommendations
Update GeoVision GV-LPC2011 to a version newer than 1.12.
Update GeoVision GV-LPC2211 to a version newer than 1.12.
