Description
An unauthenticated stack-based buffer overflow exists in the thttpd component. This issue occurs due to insufficient bounds checking when processing web request parameters in a specific request path. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted HTTP request containing overly long input, which may lead to memory corruption, denial of service, or arbitrary code execution.
Recommendations
Update GeoVision GV-LPC2011 to a version later than 1.12.
Update GeoVision GV-LPC2211 to a version later than 1.12.
