Description An unauthenticated stack-based buffer overflow exists in the ssvr component. The issue stems from insufficient bounds checking when the system processes RTSP custom authentication data. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted RTSP request, which may lead to memory corruption, denial of service, or arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability specifically involves the AuthMode and AuthValue paths.

Recommendations Update GeoVision GV-LPC2011 to a version later than 1.12. Update GeoVision GV-LPC2211 to a version later than 1.12.
