Description An issue exists in the drm/gma500/oaktrail lvds component where the LVDS initialization code fails to distinguish between I2C adapters retrieved via i2c get adapter() and those allocated and registered by the system. During a late initialization failure, the error handling process attempts to deregister and free adapters that were already registered. Because i2c get adapter() increments the reference count of the adapter, the deregistration process hangs indefinitely while waiting for the reference to be released.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
