Description An issue exists in the mailbox-test component where a double-free occurs during the process of freeing channels. This happens because the RX channel can be aliased to the TX channel if it has a different Memory-Mapped I/O (MMIO), which is a method for the CPU to access hardware devices. This special case was not properly handled, leading to the potential for the same memory to be freed twice.
