Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A NULL pointer dereference exists in the drm/amd/display component. The functions
dc dmub srv log diagnostic data() and dc dmub srv enable dpia trace() perform a check on the dc dmub srv variable and its dmub member. If dc dmub srv is NULL, the subsequent call to DC LOG ERROR() attempts to access dc dmub srv->ctx, leading to a system crash.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
