Description A use after free issue exists in the Chromecast component. This occurs when a program continues to use a pointer after the memory it points to has been freed, which can lead to crashes or unauthorized memory access. An attacker located on the same local network segment could exploit this by using a malicious peripheral to obtain sensitive information from the process memory.

Recommendations Update Google Chrome to version 150.0.7871.47 or later.
