Description An out of bounds read in the Chromecast component allows a local attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory through the use of malicious network traffic. An out of bounds read occurs when the software reads data past the end of the intended buffer, potentially accessing adjacent memory locations.

Recommendations Update Google Chrome to version 150.0.7871.47 or later.
