Description
A use after free issue exists in WebProtect. This occurs when a user is convinced to install a malicious extension, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code through a crafted Chrome Extension. Use after free is a memory corruption flaw where an application continues to use a pointer after it has been freed, which can lead to crashes or unauthorized code execution.
Recommendations
Update Google Chrome to version 150.0.7871.47 or later.
