Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An integer overflow occurs in the dal vector reserve() function when calculating allocation size using uint32 t arithmetic. This can cause the system to allocate a buffer smaller than required, leading to heap overflows during subsequent vector appends. A heap overflow is a condition where data is written beyond the boundaries of a memory buffer allocated on the heap.
