Description
An issue exists in the virtio-gpu driver when built with disabled Kernel Mode Setting (KMS), a technique used to set the resolution and color depth of a display. In this configuration, DRM atomic and modesetting are not initialized. Consequently, removing or unbinding the driver leads to the access of uninitialized data, which causes a kernel crash.
