Description
A denial-of-service issue exists in the audit logging functionality due to unbounded resource allocation. The system fails to enforce a size limit on input recorded into audit entries, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to submit requests with excessively large input. This can lead to the exhaustion of available disk space, potentially rendering the system inoperable.
Recommendations
Update Guardian/CMC to version 26.2.0 or later.
