Description A memory corruption issue exists in the expmt.exe (Siman) component. The flaw is caused by improper validation of user-supplied data, leading to an out-of-bounds write, which occurs when a program writes data past the end of the intended buffer. An attacker can execute arbitrary code within the context of the current process by tricking a user into opening a malicious file.
