Description An issue exists in the linker.exe (Siman) component due to improper validation of user-supplied data. This leads to a memory corruption through an out-of-bounds write, which occurs when the system writes data beyond the boundaries of a pre-allocated fixed-length block of memory. An attacker can execute arbitrary code within the context of the current process by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted malicious file.
