Description A denial-of-service issue occurs due to improper handling of exceptional conditions when processing crafted CIP (Common Industrial Protocol) packets sent to the adapter. This can lead to a complete system lockup, necessitating a physical power cycle to recover the module and restore associated I/O operations.
