Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Windows Operating Systems (affected versions not specified)
Description An elevation-of-privilege issue exists due to improper synchronization during concurrent execution using a shared resource, leading to a race condition. A race condition occurs when the system's behavior depends on the sequence or timing of uncontrollable events. This flaw, combined with a use-after-free condition—where the system continues to use a pointer after the memory it points to has been freed—allows an authorized local attacker to gain administrative rights.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
