Description
A pre-authentication heap out-of-bounds read exists in the AMF NAS 5GS mobile-identity handler. This issue can lead to a subscriber-wide denial of service. A heap out-of-bounds read occurs when a program reads data past the end of an allocated memory buffer on the heap, potentially causing the application to crash.
Recommendations
Update to version 2.7.8 or later.
