Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Adobe Experience Manager (affected versions not specified)
Adobe Media Encoder (affected versions not specified)
Description
Adobe Experience Manager contains a path traversal issue, which occurs when an application uses user-supplied input to construct a pathname that is intended to be within a restricted directory, but fails to properly neutralize special elements. This could allow an attacker to read arbitrary files and directories outside the intended scope without requiring user interaction. Similarly, Adobe Media Encoder has an improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory that could allow a remote attacker to bypass existing security mechanisms.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
