Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions HCL DFXAnalytics (affected versions not specified)
Description A buffer overflow exists because the application fails to properly validate input sizes. This allows an attacker to send an excessive amount of data into a memory container, potentially causing the system to crash or become unresponsive, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). This issue can be triggered without authentication.
Recommendations Implement and enforce comprehensive input length checks on both the client and server sides. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
